Obituary: Mr. Goodwin leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Sonya Goodwin; two children, Alford (Preshus) Goodwin, Donnell Goodwin; Mother, Sarah Francis Goodwin; one brother, David (Ernestine) Goodwin; sisters, Yvonne Goodwin, Princetta Goodwin; Mother in law, Betty Heyward; Six grandchildren, Donnel, Alford IV, Aaron, A'nya, Donnell Jr., and Eric. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Services: Funeral Service for Mr. Alford Goodwin Jr. will be held at 11:00am Monday, July 31, 2017 at First Nazareth Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery at 2:00pm. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3pm to 8pm at JP Holley Funeral Home Columbia Chapel.
