Al Roger Higgins

Obituary: Mr. Al Roger Higgins of 1204 Reese Road, Eastover S.C. was born on April 9, 1966 to Mrs. Rebecca Reese Davis and the late Joseph Taylor. He transition into eternity on November 11, 2017. He was baptized at the St. Matthews Baptist Church at the age of 12 by the late Rev. Luscious Robinson. Al as he was known to some and Al Rogers to others attended Lower Richland High School. He was employed as an Air Conditioner Repair Specialist until he became disabled. He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving and devoted mother Rebecca Reese Davis, Eastover S.C.; one sister, Mrs. Delilah Papadakis, Eastover S.C.; three brothers, Robert Leon Higgins, Bobby Higgins and David Higgins, all of Eastover, S.C.; four nieces, Candy (Walter) Wakwe, Ann (Alton) Prioleau, April Higgins, Jackie Higgins, all of Eastover S.C.; two nephews, Robert Higgins Jr. Columbia S.C. and Monas Papadakis, Charlotte, N.C.; two uncles Adam Reese, Columbia S.C. and Aaron Reese, Eastover S.C.; Five Aunts Gertrude Reese, Fannie N Nixon, Annie Ruth Reese, all of Eastover S.C., Katherine Reese, Columbia S.C. and Elease Reese, Pelion S.C. and a host of cousins great nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly. Services: Funeral Service for Mr. Higgins, will be held 2:00 pm Saturday Nov. 18, 2017 at the St. Matthews Baptist Church. Internment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mr. Higgins will be placed in the church one hour prior for public viewing. Visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 8 pm, at the JP Holley Funeral Home- Columbia Chapel.
