Alleen Campbell

Alleen Butler Campbell (77), departed this earth for her new heavenly home October 8, 2019. Alleen was born February 27, 1942. She attended school in the Norristown Area School District and was a graduate of the class of 1960. She was also married in 1960 to Robert O Campbell, Sr—from that union they had three children (Robert, Thomas and Elizabeth). She was preceded in death by her husband Robert O. Campbell, Sr, her parents William and Eliza Butler, her brothers Thomas and Willie Butler. Her son Thomas P. Campbell, Sr and grandson Jerrell R. Campbell preceded her in death as well. She is survived by her sister Marlene Butler Hadrick (Joseph) of Norristown, PA; son, Robert O. Campbell, Jr ( Juanita “Pam”); her daughter, Elizabeth A. Kanoa and daughter-in-law Carmen Campbell of Columbia, SC. She left behind 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and a host of close nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Alleen was a native of Norristown, PA where she lived until moving to Columbia, SC in 2004. Although Alleen held many jobs in her lifetime, she was most proud of her job as a CNA, where she became certified in South Carolina. She lived a full life and knew that she was loved beyond measure. She was very sociable and made friends with everyone she came across. Alleen was devoted to her church and her bible study school group at Rehoboth Baptist Church. Those that knew her, knew that she was a wealth of knowledge and could answer almost every question on Jeopardy. Mom, we know you are still watching Jeopardy and playing along. You will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Love you mom forever.
